We are always looking for motivated students to join our ranks. We are interested in engaging with passionate people at all stages of their academic careers including: undergraduate researchers, graduate students, and postdoctoral fellows.
The research interests of the AMML are to develop microstructure design strategies to produce high performance engineering materials. The breadth of this question inherently requires a multidisciplinary approach which involves novel experimental and computational techniques that span the spectrum of the physical sciences. Due to the interdisciplinary nature of this research, students with diverse backgrounds in engineering and the sciences are encouraged to welcome including: materials science and engineering, mechanical engineering, civil engineering, and physics.
Interested individuals are encouraged to send their curriculum vitae, the contact information for 1-2 references, and a brief description of relevant research background and interests (1-2 paragraphs) directly to the PI – Matthew Daly (email@example.com).
