AMML receives two new major grants

The AMML has received two new grants from federal funding agencies. The first grant is from the Department of Energy and represents a collaborative effort to monitor damage accumulation in high temperature piping infrastructure using new ultrasonic sensors. The second comes from the NSF's MRI program and is for the purchase of a state-of-the-art scanning TEM instrument for atomic resolution imaging of magnetic materials at UIC.
